Jonnie graduated from Conehatta High School in 1953. She was actively involved in Midway Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas; her parents, Grace and Oliver French; and her sisters, Flossie Cooksey and Mary Leach.
Jonnie is survived by her children, Cheri Hilderbrand (Phil) and Eric Thomas; her sister, Jean Smith; cousin, Linda McDonald (Edwin); her grandchildren- Justin Hilderbrand (Joanna), Heather Jones (Matt), and Chase Hilderbrand; and her great-grandchildren- Pierce Jones, Jon Wiley Jones, Gage Hilderbrand, Turner Hilderbrand, and Ashby Hilderbrand.
The family would like to thank Brookdale Clinton and Gentiva Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Lakewood Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 11:00 am. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am.
Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
