I remember the first time I met Mrs. Joy was when I was 16 going in for an interview at papa John's. After I had started working at papa John's she acted like a motherly figure to me making sure I had stuff done, how school was going, how my family life was going. On several occasions she gave me rides home after work. My condolences go out to the family and friends of her who are grieving. It will get better god is looking after her now.

Mrs. Joy, was one of the few that believed in me. I work with her at papa John's she was an amazing manager! We would always go to the back with Ms. Joyce and talk and give me advice. She always made sure I was safe and when I made it to Michigan she had me call her and got onto me for not calling her 😅. She would always call and check on me and see how my momma was doing. Mrs. Joy made an very big impact in the little time I known her! Thank you! 
Prayers to the family.

My heart and prayers go out to Mrs. JOY family she was a good friend and great manager when i worked at papa johns she always hugged me every time I saw her im going to miss seeing her and that smile. She was a fun person to be around and work with. Im just happy i had the pleasure in knowing her. It won't be the same without her  or hearing her say "Hey James " and then giving me a big hug what a great person and friend she was to alot of us and she truly will be missed😥

My favorite memory of Ms. Joy was when she told me that she cared about me on a personal level, not just professionally and that if I ever needed a place to stay, her and her husband would open their home for me and my cat, Precious to stay. This touched my heart. I want to send my condolence to the family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you peace at this difficult time. Take time to allow yourself to grieve. Healing doesn't come overnight, it is a process. Sometimes a long process, but God will give you the strength, courage, and perseverance that you will need during this process. Just know that she would tell you thats shes in a better place, take care of each other, and live your life with joy in your hearts.
