I met Jeanne at the Genealogy Library.  She was immediately kind and inviting; she made me feel comfortable in an unfamiliar setting.  I will miss her.  The Genealogy Library won't be the same without her.

Jeanne was the type of person we all strive to be. She will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to have met her and to have been a part of her life.

I met Jeanne through our local genealogy society.   She always had a ready smile and was generous with her time and expertise.  I appreciated so many things about her and enjoyed being with her.  She was such a foundational part of our genealogy library, I find it difficult to think of the library without her presence and personal touch.   She served tirelessly and cheerfully, and was always searching for ways to promote the library and genealogy for others to enjoy.  We enjoyed attending genealogy workshops together.  I shall miss Jeanne dearly; I'm thankful for her friendship and the cherished memories.

Wishing you God's many blessings.   Jeanne was one of God's most precious gifts.  What are we to do without her?  She was one of my most precious friends.  I'll miss you something fierce!!  Jo Ann  Giles

Paul and I met Jeanne through our membership in SMGHS. From the very beginning, Jeanne made us feel as though we were part of her family.  This included inviting us to spend the night in her home on meeting nights since we drove down from Brandon every month. 
 She was such a wonderful person, friend and I will truly find it difficult to attend and continue the work of the Society without her smiling face. 

As a longtime member of SMGS, I always found Jeanne's cheerful personality so helpful as we worked and planned projects for the library.  She greeted everyone with a smile and "how may I help you?"   It will be an almost impossible task for anyone to fill her shoes as librarian.   I will miss my friend.
