Kathy Boney, age 76 passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. A visitation for Kathy will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Kathy will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., Jackson, Mississippi 39209.
Kathy was born in Louisville, Mississippi. She graduated from Nanih Waiya High School and was employed with Allstate Insurance for 23 years. Kathy enjoyed gardening and shopping but most of all spending time with her friends and grandkids. She was a member of Lakeshore Church.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Minnie Crocker; brothers, JW Crocker and Melvis Crocker; sisters, Jewel Hatcher, Mabel Hamilton and Dean Regions. She is survived by her husband, Mac Boney; son, William Boney (Corey);brother, James Crocker; sister, Teen Vickery; grandson, Jake Lape and granddaughter, Brooke Boney.
