Linda was born in Belzoni, MS on August 16, 1950, the daughter of Lee Windham and Annie Bunch Windham. Linda was a devoted mother, sister, friend, and her most cherished role was being a “Granny.”
She is survived by her son Charlie Acuff (Tonya); daughter Amanda Cranfield (Will); granddaughters Kennedy Acuff and Hannah Cox; brothers Wayne Windham, George Grayling Windham (Jeanne), and Robert Windham (Janet). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Linda spent over 20 years traveling around the southern states working as a Timekeeper for Kellogg, Brown & Root Construction Company. After returning home to Mississippi, she worked at Nutrition Systems, Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Station and ended her career at the Lorman Post Office. At each workplace she made lifelong friendships.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Red Lick Baptist Church in Lorman, MS with the Rev. Charles Gammel officiating.
