Ray Meadows, 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Lakewood South Funeral Home, McClure Rd, on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 12-2 PM with funeral services beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park.
Mr. Meadows was born in Mize, MS on March 3, 1926 to the late Dewey and Bertha Butler Meadows. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
Mr. Meadows is preceded in death by his wife, Carmella Deluca Meadows, his parents, and 6 siblings. He is survived by his sons, Bobby Ray Meadows, Joe Meadows, Mike Meadows, and Tim Meadows; daughters, Teri Pittman and Carolyn; sister, Betty Jean; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
