Richard B. Sellers, Sr., 83, passed away on August 27, 2015. He was born on June 4, 1932 to the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Cassie Jacobs Sellers in Birmingham, AL. Richard, Sr. served his country in the Marine Corp, and had lifelong passion for playing pool.
Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home South on McCluer Road in Jackson on Monday, August 31st from 1:30-3:30 p.m. with a service following at 3:30.
Richard, Sr. was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sellers. He leaves behind his children, Richard B. Sellers, Jr. (Holly), Natalie Von Deaton, and Melinda F. Koster (Patrick); and his grandchildren, Chris O'Neal, Jonathan Reese Deaton, Zeray Sellers, Teagen Koster, and Hannah Koster; and his special friends, Bo and Regina Powell.
In lieu of flowers, the Sellers family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
