Robert "Tic" Bowers

He was born in Jackson, MS on April 14, 1925 to William and Lillie Mae Bowers. He married Helen Louis Bridges on October 31, 1947.

Robert (Tic to many) was preceded in death by, ex-wife Helen Bridges Bowers, his parents William and Lillie Mae Bowers; siblings, Pittman Bowers, Marcus Bowers, Fred Bowers, James Bowers, Frances Bowers Hall and Alice Bowers Spaulding; and great grandchild, Kaleb Bowers.

He is survived by his children and their families, Nancy Brown, (Wayne),Robert D. Bowers, Gary Bowers, (Rita) of Florence MS, Carol Rather, Brenda Bowers of Alvin, TX and Frances Hinton of Macon, GA; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Friday, March 30, 2018 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Lakewood Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd. Services will be Friday starting at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Ed Meadows officiating.
