Bob was born on July 27, 1950, and grew up in Jackson, MS. After graduation from Wingfield High School, he earned his BS from Mississippi State University before entering medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his residency in family practice in Jackson before beginning his practice at Clinton Medical Center, where he cared for those in his community for more than 35 years. Bob was an intellect with a natural curiosity that manifested itself in his voracious reading and exploration of many hobbies, most notably the culinary arts and photography. He loved to capture the special moments in life by taking photos of his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a great doctor because he was a great man. He had a generous spirit and a kindness that was as important to his patients as his medical advice. Dr. Bob was a big man with an even bigger heart.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Audrey Estess; step-mother, Virginia Estess; son, Ryan Lyle Sperandeo; and grandson, Daniel Robert Estevilla.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; sons, Brad (Sharon) Estess of Madison and Robert Sperandeo of Clinton; daughters, Loren Estess of Dallas, TX, Lana (Zayra) Estevilla of Austin, TX, and Audrey Anne Estess of Clinton; brother, Charles (Diane) Estess, Jr. of Clarksdale, sisters, Marti (Charles) Williams of Clinton and Carolyn Knott of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Brooklynn Sperandeo, Wade, Clark, Trent, and Piper Estess, and Sebastian Estevilla.
