Mrs. Ruth Moody Sallis

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2010 from the High Street Chapel of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home. Visitation will be between the hours of 5 and 7 PM Friday and after 12 Noon on Saturday. Interment will follow the service in Lakewood Memorial Park.

A native of Kosciusko, Mrs. Sallis made her home in Jackson for over 50 years. She was a Homemaker and she was a charter member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James F. Sallis in 1993.

Survivors include her sons, Dr. James F. Sallis and his wife Shemi of San Diego, CA, John Sallis of Jackson; sisters Frances Dinz of Kosciusko, Dorothy Ann Deruiter of Signal Mountain, TN and Helen Dennis of Lawrence, MS; brothers Leland Moody of Kosciusko and Orland Moody of Oklahoma City OK.
