Alberta Longmire Kimball

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 12 Noon in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Casketbearers to serve will be Charles H. Williams, Jr., Charles H. Williams, III, Gilford Williams, Ronnie Manley, Joel Martin, and Ken McCorkle.

Mrs. Kimball is preceded in death by her parents, Gilford and Ellen Hinson Longmire; and her husband, Maj. Richard Alling Kimball, USAF Ret.

She is survived by a daughter, Constance Ellen Kimball and a son, Richard Alling Kimball, Jr., and his wife, Sally Stephens Kimball; she is also survived by a granddaughter, Claire Stephens Kimball; a sister, Virginia Longmire Williams and her husband Charles H. Williams; and two nephews, Gilford Williams and Charlie Williams, Jr.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Jackson-Madison County Humane Society.
