Alice Myracle Rogers

She was born on July 17, 1923 in Wheatley, AR to the late Eugene West and Grace Wagner Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Fred “Tarzan” Myracle and her husband of 10 years, Bruce Rogers. Alice was a member of First Baptist Church Bemis where she taught the Gleaners Sunday School class for over 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Brown and husband Allen; granddaughter, Teresa Wright and husband Jonathan; grandsons, Phillip Brown and wife Mary and Andrew Brown and wife Olivia; Great Grandson, Jason Brown; and Great Granddaughters, Cydney Mallery, Abby Mallery, Jenna Brown, Josie Brown, Wendy Brown, and Lorelei Brown.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, August 24, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning, August 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Bro. Maurice Hays and Bro. Allen Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Cemetery.
