Annie Ruth Pannell

She was Born on November 13, 1933 in Munford, Tennessee was a loving wife to Jerry of 47 years, mother to her 7 children and grandmother (Mamo) to 14 grandchildren. She loved and was loved by her family fiercely. She enjoyed donating to numerous charities, embodied strength, wit, and sass. When she spoke, everyone listened. She had a passion for gardening and good ole southern cooking. The glue that held our family together will be fondly remembered and forever missed.

Annie is survived by her children Connie (Russell) Taylor, JoAnn (Manuel) Cavazos, Ronnie Ray Pannell, Betty Spotofora, Steven Pannell and Nancy Pannell. Siblings Tommy Luck and Delphia-Ray Luck and Grandchildren Melissa (John) Eichelberger, Tammy (Doug) Day, Kristi (John) Langdon, Jason (Amber) Pannell, Nicole (Shawn) Barker, Eric Pannell, Brian Juhant, Amanda Spotofora, Ashley (Kord) Nichols, Tara (Shane) Longest, Daniel Pannell, Sarah Pannell and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Pannell; mother, Effie Scott; father, Raymond Luck; stepmother, Judy Luck; brother, Paul Luck; stepbrothers, Raymond Luck, Jr and Roger Dale Luck; son, Jerry Pannell Jr; and daughter, Toni Juhant; and Grandsons, Jack and Justin Miller.

Visitation for Annie Ruth Pannell will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2812 North Highland Ave., Jackson, TN from 9:30 – 11:00am. Services will be from 11:00 – 12:00pm. Burial will be held following visitation at Big Creek Cemetery, 6815 Big Creek Church Rd. Millington, Tennessee at 2:00pm.
