Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Fern Bain Sadler, age 73, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with Interment to follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Sadler died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She was born in Madison County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Dan Bain and Elizabeth Pierce Bain. She was married to Mickey Sadler on February 13, 1957 and was a member of Malesus Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Mickey Sadler; her children, Mickey R. Sadler, Jr., LaWanda J. Sadler, and William C. Sadler and wife Evangeline; her siblings, Frances Bain Danley, Clara Mae Bain Matthews, and Danny Bain; her seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 5-7 p.m., at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, (731) 427-5555.
