Carolyn Sharp Perry

Mrs. Perry was born on October 20, 1940 in Linden, TN, the daughter of the late Walton and Christine Vaughan Sharp. She was an educator with the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Whiteville for many years. She and her late husband were also members of Forest Heights United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Perry and her brother, Bill Sharp.

She is survived by her son, Robert “Bo” Perry (Melissa); grandson, Bobby Perry; her sister, Becky Sharp Cunningham (Barry); her sister-in-law, Martha Sharp; and her beloved dog, Winston.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Eric Lomax officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed in Carolyn’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Humane Society.
