Cody was born on January 13, 1956 in Illinois to the late Wayne and Shirley Grant Woolverton. He was a mechanic who could work on anything with an engine. He worked on vehicles, mowers, weed eaters and anything else. It didn't matter what it was, Cody could get it going. Cody will be remembered as a loving man who would help anyone out. He loved his family very much. He loved watching his nascar races on tv, going to watch baseball games that his grandson Jordan played in, watching his grandson Dakoda play football, and hunting. Cody also honorably served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Cook Woolverton; daughter, Danielle Bates (Shaun); son, Billy Woolverton (Brittany); and grandchildren, Jordan and Dakoda.
