

David Lynn Acor of Gatlinburg, Tn died Friday, February 5, 2016. He was Born July 4, 1964 in Brownsville, Tn to Willard and Carolyn Acor. He attended Cartertown Baptist Church in Gatlinburg, Tn and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, Tn. In his youth and for much of his young adult life, he attended the Alamo First Baptist Church in Alamo, Tn, where he married his high school sweetheart, Marcie Crutchfield Acor in 1987. He was a solo entrepreneur who built a successful international commodities company, U.I.S. Polymers, but he was known for his generosity to those in need, and for his tenacious spirit with which he approached life. He was especially fond of spending time with his baby grandson, Easton. He is survived by his parents, Willard and Carolyn Acor; his wife, Marcie Acor; sons Aaron Acor and Austin Acor, grandson, Easton Acor; and sister Marla Cole.Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 12pm to 2pm, with service at 2 pm at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel. Graveside service will be Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at 11 am in Pigeon Forge, TN under direction of Atchley Funeral Home.
