Funeral Services for Doris Ann McLemore, age 49, will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 11 a.m., at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with Brother Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Parkburg Cemetery.
Doris was born and raised as a native of Jackson, TN. After graduating from the UT Martin Nursing Program, Doris spent the rest of her working career going above and beyond in the care of her patients. This is something that she was very proud of and that her patients loved her for. She was very outgoing, loved people, and loved animals also. She will be very much missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Whitney McLemore; her mother, Carolyn Cardenas and her father, Carl W. Jones; two sisters, Jenny Kay Moore, Michelle Gurley and husband Nathan Gurley; one grandson, Noah Markham, and a nephew, Jesse Gurley.
Visitation with the McLemore Family will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 10 a.m. until the start of service at 11 a.m., at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
