He was born on October 20, 1948 in Onley, Illinois to the late Jesse Birsall Whitnall III and Lucretia Benn Whitnall.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Prince Whitnall; daughters, Stephanie Gordon (Khristophere) and Jennifer Kolwyck (Randy); a son, Jesse Birdsall Whitnall V; two sisters, Pamela Cummings (Gordon) and Brenda Wierschke (Gilbert); and one grandchild on the way.
Memorial services for Jesse will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 5 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. John White officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-5 p.m., one hour prior to the service.
