Joshua K. Walters

Josh was born on November 30, 1988 in Jackson, TN to Ronald Walters and Shirley Williams. Josh was a graduate of South Side High School and a member of Victory Worship Center in Jackson. Josh loved wrestling, playing video games, and watching movies. Diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, Josh was a strong individual who taught those around him how to love, stay inspired, and make the most of life no matter what circumstances you are given. Although handicapped, he lived a very happy and vibrant life.

Josh was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his father, Ronald Walters; his mother, Shirley Williams; his grandparents, Robert and Gladys Walters; three brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, September 7, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 1 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Pastor J.P. Stovall officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
