Larry Dean Hunt

Larry was born in Hardin County, TN, the son of the late David Lewis Hunt and Joyce White Wesson. He retired after many years of service at Sonoco Products in Jackson.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ford Hunt; daughter, Tammy Rene Hunt; parents, David Lewis Hunt, and Joyce White Wesson; his brother, Davy Hunt; his grandson, Jaden Tunis; and his parents-in-law, Curtis Waymon Harper and Laura Belle Harper.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Harper Hunt, her son, John Britt (fiancé Kelsey Nerren), and John’s daughter, Lilly Britt; his siblings, Travis Hunt, Gary Hunt, and Angela Wesson; his step children, Melinda Fowler (Anthony); and a step granddaughter, Sarah Fowler Gray (Jerry).

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, December 21, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Following visitation, an escorted funeral procession will leave for a graveside service at Beech Bluff Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
