Lisa Ann Scott was born on Sept 25, 1961. She was the first-born child and first-born grandchild and her arrival brought great joy to her family. Her parents are Diane McCaslin and Billy Charles Pratt both of Jackson. She passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2023 at 62 yrs old. This came so sudden after her overcoming a fight against cancer in 2022. Lisa moved in with Lori and Michael after learning of her cancer diagnosis. During this time Lisa was able to form a new bond and made many good memories with her family
Lisa was a joyful person who made friends easily. She had a sense of humor and loved to share jokes and was free with her laughter. She was a free-spirited person who didn’t live life according to the script.
She married Tim Scott who precedes her in death. She spent many happy years devoted to him and their home. In her later days, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She liked to watch her favorite tv shows like Law and Order and listening to music. She was a lover of animals, especially our cat Tom Tom. She was faithful in talking to her “Mama” most every day. She loved keeping up with her 8 nieces and nephews and was excited to be able to spend time with them as well as her 7 great nieces and nephews when she was able.
She leaves behind her mother Diane Boren McCaslin of Jackson; her sister Lori Jenkins and husband Michael of Jackson and her sister Debra Messler and husband Steve of Arlington. Her family loved her and will remember and miss her always.
Lisa, we wait to see your smile and hear your laugh as we gather again around Heaven’s throne as promised by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation with the family will be held at the graveside on Sunday, October 8, 2023 beginning at 1:30pm at Browns Cemetery, 181 McLeary Rd., Jackson, TN. The service will immediately follow at 200pm.
The family invites all in attendance to join them for a fellowship meal to follow the service immediately at 137 Terrace Place in Jackson which is the home of her sister Lori and Michael Jenkins.
