Mrs. Lucille Davidson, 85 of Jackson passed away on Monday December 7, 2015. She was born on July 23, 1930 in Jacks Creek, TN to the late Tony and Lydia Johnson Holland. Mrs. Davidson worked as a Seamstress for Oakley’s fashion for over 21 years, and a member of South Jackson Church of Christ.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Mr. Otis “O.J.” Davidson, 1 daughter; Lydia Davidson, 1 sister Louise Scott, and 4 brothers Ruil C. Holland, Burl Holland, Earl Holland, and Thomas Holland.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by 3 daughters; Alice Sawyer and husband John, Denise McNabb and husband Dennis, and Renee Crowder all of Jackson, 9 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday December 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Davidson’s son in law John Sawyer will officiate the service. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 2:00 pm.
