Mary Corinne Hight, 70, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed away on November 28, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1955, in Jackson, Tennessee, and from the very beginning lived a life marked by creativity, compassion, and an independent spirit.
Corinne was devoted to the animals she loved—especially her cats and her horses, who were truly her babies. Her artistic eye and adventurous heart led her into photography, where she became nothing short of extraordinary. A gifted storyteller and a published author, she captured life not only through her lens but also through her words. Those who knew her will forever remember her quick wit, her intelligence, her warmth, and her ability to make others laugh until the tears flowed.
She cherished her friends, their children, and their grandchildren as if they were her own. Fiercely independent and full of curiosity, she embraced life with a sense of adventure and a deep, abiding faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as a proud member of Raleigh Primitive Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tn. Her stories—whether heartfelt, humorous, or timeless—will remain with all who were blessed to hear them.
Corinne is preceded in death by her parents, James Ray Sr. and Mary Hight, as well as her sister, Susan Hight.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. Jay Hight (Boo) of Jackson, Tennessee; her nieces, Dr. Lucy Digmon (Marshall) of Memphis, Tennessee, and Julie Hight of Nashville, Tennessee; and her beloved great-niece and two great-nephews, who brought her immeasurable joy.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 4th, at Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, Tennessee, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with the committal to immediately follow.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to bring light, laughter, and comfort to all who loved her.
