uth Kelley- Mary Ruth Ealey Kelley of Jackson passed away December 15, 2016 at The Bridge at Ridgley. She was 88. Born September 1, 1928 in New Augusta, Indiana she spent virtually her entire life in Tennessee. She was a graduate of Hiwassee College and served several school districts in Northeast Tennessee as a cafeteria manager. She also served as the First Lady of numerous churches that her late husband of 61 years, Rev. Archie Kelley, served in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church of Jackson.
She is survived by a daughter, Davie Harrison of Jackson and two sons, Leldon Kelley and his wife Lisa of Tracy City, TN and Lloyd Kelley of Irmo, SC.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Easterly Ealey.
Services for Mrs. Kelley will be held Monday December 19th at 1PM at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with visitation held 1 hour prior.
Memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
