Nelda Faye Crouch

Nelda Faye Ivey Crouch passed away Monday, December 20th, 2010 at her home in Jackson, TN surrounded by family.

She was born February 7, 1946 in Clarke County, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Travis Lee Crouch; and her parents, Earl Eugene Ivey of Medon, Beatrice Jackson Yarbrough of Jackson, Gorden Thompson and Louise Thompson, and her brother, Everette Thompson, all of Starkville, MS.

Survivors include her son, James & Karen Crouch of Murfreesboro, and daughter, Pamala Crouch Wright of Jackson, and granddaughters, Katelyn, Kassidy and Kourtney Crouch. She is survived by siblings, William (Bill) & Donna Ivey of Medon, Ronney & Melba Ivey of Jackson, Jackie Ivey Duffey and Charles of Leon, VA, Roger & Sheila Ivey of Beech Bluff, Petrina Ivey Stewart & Mike of Jackson, and Wayne & Joy Yarbrough of Henderson, Homer & Glenda Thompson, Edgar Thompson, Linda Blankenship, Pat & Dan Jackson, Buddy & Susan Thompson, all of Starkville, MS, and Nelda & Joe Brazeale of Bryan, TX.

She was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church. She was employed at Quaker Oats for 27 years.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Ivey Hall, 1928 Riverside Dr., Jackson, TN at 3 p.m. Friends and family are invited.
