

Funeral services for Nellie Ruth Murley Webb, age ninety-one, will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2pm at Parkburg Baptist Church with Brother Danny Rachel officiating. Burial will follow at Parkburg cemetery.
Nellie was born on February 7, 1930 at home in Chester County to the late Adolphus Monroe and Katie Maude Hornsby Murley. Nellie went on to graduate from Chester County Schools and West Tennessee Business College.
On February 6, 1954, she married Charles Frederick Webb. The couple had two daughters, Deborah and Sandra. They shared their lives together for forty-one years before he preceded her in death.
Nellie retired as a bookkeeper from International Harvester of Jackson.
She was a proud member of Parkburg Baptist Church where she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher of four and five-year-olds. Later, she served in the nursey. After that, she became a member of the Faithful Worker Sunday School Class and was an active member of the class until she was no longer able to attend services. In addition to her church service, she was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Nellie is survived by her daughters: Deborah (Mike) Nichols of Oakfield and Sandra Mincher of Pinson ; grandchildren: Mariane Nichols of Nashville, William (Erin) Nichols of North Carolina, Michael (Hillary) Mincher, Jr of Mongolia, Matthew (Kelly) Mincher of California; great grandchildren: Aria Nichols of North Carolina, Michael Wayne Mincher, III of Mongoila, Levi, Abby, Mason and Caleb Mincher of California; Siblings: Dorotha Holcomb of Jackson and Jim (Wanda) Murley of Nashville; Sister-in-law: Ester Mae Murley of Jackson; and many nephews and nieces.
Leading up to entering the Bells Nursing Home, Nellie was taken care of by a team of very special caretakers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolphus & Katie Murley, her husband, Charles F. Webb, a brother, Haskell (Sonny) Murley, and son-in-law, Michael Wayne Mincher.
Paulbears to serve will be Mike Nichols, William Nichols, Michael Mincher, Jr, Matthew Mincher, Levi Mincher, and Steve Webb.
