Nick busied himself with hobbies of wood-working and care and feeding of martins and hummingbirds, who would literally hover around him. Over the years, hebecame an expert and restoring antique clocks, calling his service "The Nick of Time." There was never a clock he couldn't repair.
Nick loved the Lord, enjoyed life and had a wonderful sense of humor. He genuinely cared about the well-being of others and gave unselfishly. He was "Uncle Nick" to almost everyone he met, but his greatest joy was his family. He asked only that we "remember him well." He made that easy to do.
Interment of his ashes will be at Greelawn Memorial Park in Natchez, MS on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10 a.m. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society or a breast cancer foundation of choice.
