I just learned of the news. While I did not know Paul well, I know he was a wonderful person.  My heart and prayers go out to Mrs. Meyers, Margie and the whole family. I'm so sorry for your loss. To the Meyers and the Davis Families - Words seem inadequate to express the sadness that we have about Paul.  Thinking back to our wedding festivites in 1999, we could not have imagined it without all of our family surrounding us, especially Paul. Paul was such an extraordinary young man.  I remember him from birth and he never stopped amazing us.  The obituary tells about his accomplishments, and they were many.  Paul was always leading the way and finishing first.  What the article misses is his spirit.  Paul had too many fine qualities to list here, but first among them, he was a true child of God. i knew Paul from Rhodes; Paul was a good friend and could make anyone laugh. He will be missed.

I was friends with Paul at Rhodes. He was a kind soul and this is such sad news. My condolences and prayers to the Meyers Family.

I just want to express to the family that your were blessed with a very kind and genuine person.  I worked at the gym that he was a member of in Jackson, TN.  He came to my spin classes.  We would have good conversations and what I loved most about him is that he always said hello and conversed in any other environment or venue that I may have run across him.   I hope that you can find comfort in remembering all the good things about him!
