Roger Lee Baker

He was born May 6, 1955 in Chaffee, MO to the late William Franklin and Mary Louise Randles Baker. He was a member of New Covenant Pentecostal Church in Medina, TN. He was employed in the construction industry and later as a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wilford Baker.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Bishop Baker of Jackson; daughters, Ruth Ann Calkins (Gregg) and Melissa Dawn Vermillion (Vincent); son, Roger Lee Baker II (Lindsey); Grandchildren, Aleah Baker, Peyton Durham, Isabel Calkins, Amy Calkins, Elanna Vermillion & Isaac Vermillion; sisters, Margaret Klipfel and Shirley Bledsoe; and brothers, Steve Baker, Mike Baker, Larry Baker, and Doug Baker.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019. The visitation and funeral will be held at New Covenant Pentecostal Church, 249 Market Avenue in Medina, TN. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN.
