Ron was born on July 6, 2013 in Cleveland, OH. He was an avid outdoorsman with a particular love for deer hunting. He was a big joker and loved to make everyone laugh. He was also a truck drive for Save-A-Lot.
He was united in marriage to Marsha, his loving wife, on January 5, 1985, who survives him.
He is also survived by his father, Kenneth Long; two neices, Rachel Wilson of Jackson and Jessica Baggett (Jeremiah) of Lexington, TN; a nephew, Tim Flynn of Nashville, TN; a great nephew, Samuel Baggett; a sister-in-law, Mary (David) Flynn of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Heather Boggs and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Seymour Long and a sister-in-law, Margie Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m.
