Rosalyn L. Hailey, aka Roz, aka Stagger-Lee, age 80 of Collierville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Rosalyn was born October 27, 1939. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Leon B. Hailey. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Margaret Williams of Jackson.
Rosalyn graduated from North Side High School and attended West TN Business College. She was a dedicated Christian and longtime member of Madison Hall Baptist Church. She loved God and her family with all she had. Rosalyn was a fulltime homemaker and co-owner of Hailey’s Catering. She was a talented and accomplished artist, singer/songwriter, and adored music. She was an original member of the Rock-A-Billy Rockers and loved to dance.
Rosalyn is survived by son Danny Hailey (Cindy) of Jackson, son Don Hailey (Michelle) of Collierville, and daughter Diana McCaslin (Jeff) of Decaturville; brother Thomas Williams (Barbara) of Jackson, sister Beverly Lewis of Lewisburg, sister Patricia Brock (Bill) of Lewisburg, and sister Teresa Irvin of Friendship. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a whole host of nieces, nephews and other extended family of brothers and sisters in law, cousins, and friends.
A visitation with friends and loved ones will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home North Chapel. A graveside service will follow immediately after at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens with Bro. Greg Gilbreath officiating.
Pallbearers serving will be: Timothy Williams, Anthony Williams, David Hailey, Jeff McCaslin, Jake McCaslin, and Nate Copeland.
