Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the North Chapel George a Smith and Sons with interment and Military Honors in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Tommy was born on July 29, 1945 in Hardin County, TN to the late Joseph L. and Ruby Mae Jarrett DeLaney.
Mr. DeLaney was a proud veteran serving in the U.S Airforce and retiring from I.B.M after more than 25 years.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lambert, and a brother, Bob DeLaney.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Sharon DeLaney, two sons; Kevin DeLaney (Stephanie) of Cedar Grove, TN and Jeff DeLaney (Jennifer) of Medina, TN. Four grandchildren; Tyler DeLaney, Mason DeLaney, Meagan DeLaney, Amanda Oatsvall. He is also survived by his siblings; Edward DeLaney (Flora) of Savannah, TN, Kate Castleman of Savannah, TN., Norman DeLaney (Beverly) of Bartlett, TN., and Gail Pickens (Marvin) of Henderson, TN.
The family will receive friends on Monday September 30, 2019 from 5 PM to 8 PM in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
