Memorial services will be held today, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 4 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Albert Driggs; her great-granddaughter, Jennifer Hixon and grandson, Brian Vincent.
She is survived by a daughter, Esther Vincent of Jackson, TN; a son, Charles Steven Driggs of Palm City, FL; two grandchildren, Debra Murchison of Memphis and Patricia Waganer of Trinity, NC; great-grandchildren, Michelle Thompson, Daniel Murchison, and Lindsey Murchison; and a great great-granddaughter, Audrey Murchison.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Violet's memory may be directed to Northside United Methodist Church, 2571 North Highland, Jackson, TN 38305.
