Bill passed away suddenly at his home Saturday, August 23, 2014.
He was born in Lebanon, TN to the late Zed and Georgia McMillen of Jackson, TN. He was a contractor and owner of A-1 Waste LLC. He was a member of Englewood Baptist Church.
He loved his family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Valerie Nicole Lyons.
Surviving are his wife, Loran McMillen, whom he married November 30, 1974; his daughters, Kelly and husband Matt Nelson of Medina; Brittany McMillen of Atlanta, GA; his grandson, Matthew Lyons; sister, Carolyn and husband Paul Markee of Nashville; a niece, Melanie Tarter; a nephew, John Osterhoudt, and a cousin, Mike McMillen and wife, Mary of Nashville.
Pallbearers will be Terry McGuire, Mike Cowles, Justin Lyons, Mat Nelson, Phillip Allen McGuire, and Clif Dodd.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 8 pm, Tuesday, August 26, in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
