I have recently learned of Kelly Smythe's passing. I worked with Kelly at the Pan Am Trident Support Project in Silverdale, Washington in the late 1970s. Kelly was a very sincere, straight forward and honest person. 

I never had the honor of meeting Kelly in person, but we communicated a lot when he was working for Crown and I was a Govt contractor associated with the company. He was always precise and thorough and I could rely on him all of the time. I am sorry to hear that he passed away.

Kelly was a special person and friend. I met Kelly when we worked for Pan Am in WA State.  He moved away but kept in touch with a Christmas card every year.  I will forever remember the sound of his laughter and his smile.  I will miss him.

Iwas saddened to hear of Kelly's passing.  Hearing about him brought back many fond memories of the days we worked and socialized together while employed at Pan Am in Bangor, such a long time ago.  Rest in peace, Kelly.  Lil Greeley, Oregon City, OR

Kelly was a fine person who could always be relied upon to do his very best in every endeavor whether personal or professional.

Kelly was a special person.  He and I became friends in 1976 while working for Pan Am.  We were later partners in a consulting firm and then worked together again at Vinnell.  He was an exceptionally literate man and I always cherished his friendship.  I will miss him.

Kelly was a remarkable man. I knew him from the bridge circles where he was a championship player.  He had the utmost respect from everyone. As a friend to all, he will be sorely missed.
