Lonnie attended the University of Florida from 1963-1966 and became an avid Gator. He loved the beach and spending time with family. He was a huge music lover and a fan of Bruce Springsteen, The Who and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Lonnie is survived by his wife of 35 years, Martelle; four step-sons and five grandchildren, Bailey, Jessie, Landon, Carly and Lily.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
