Ann Kavouras, age 88, passed away at her residence on January 20, 2015. She was a native of Pittsburgh, PA and had been a resident of Jacksonville since 1978 moving from New Smyrna Beach. She was born to the late Michael and Mary Scordialos on January 16, 1927.
She was a former secretary and she and her husband managed the Shangri La Hotel in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
She was of the Greek Orthodox Faith. Mrs. Kavouras was preceded in death by her husband, Gust Kavouras in 1992. She is survived by two sons, Louis Kavouras of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Kavouras (Jennifer) of Jacksonville, FL, one daughter Mary Ann Kavouras of Jacksonville, FL and one brother Robert Scord (Betty) of Eustis, FL.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday January 31, 2015 at 10:15 am at the Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
