Anne Benjamin passed away on December 15, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Mindy Einhorn, her grandchildren, Robin and Pete Selig, and Michael Einhorn. Anne was born in Schenectady, NY on November 9, 1930 and moved to Jacksonville, FL with her family when she was a teenager. She was married and had two children, Mindy and David. Anne received her Bachelors her Masters in education. Throughout her life, Anne was passionate about education and creative writing. She was the proprietor of a tutoring business for many years. She took much pride in being a teacher and seeing the children she taught succeed. Her published works were related to her diverse interests including early childhood education. She was passionate about her Jewish heritage and proud of her volunteerism for Jewish causes and involvement with the Jacksonville Jewish Center. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service be held on Monday, December 18th at 1pm at New Center Cemetery.
