Anthony Christini. Born on August 26th, 1965 the year of the first spacewalk, and if that’s not interesting, we could at least say that with him it has been interesting, and that is to say the least. He grew up as a smart, inquisitive, charismatic boy. He loved baseball with a burning passion, he played like almost no one could. Doing so gave great insight into his being. He had a drive to be somebody one day. He has projected that trait onto his two children, a feeling so powerful, almost a euphoric feeling to know if you try hard enough you can make it.
He always dreamed of being someone successful. He was knowledgeable in many fields of study, science, history, business, statistics, law, and most of all mathematics. Some could say life has not been the easiest for Anthony, he was never comfortable in one spot, perhaps that’s the reason he never pursued a career, among other reasons. He often chose the wrong paths in life and made the wrong decisions, this led to him not being monetarily stable, yet he remained a nice guy and always said money isn’t everything. Even where he lived, next to his kids, with energy and a spark in his eye he said he turned out successful. He had children whom have the potential to do good and be everything he wanted and more.
Anthony was a brilliant man. He was funny and spoke to people on all levels, he had a unique fun loving energy, he was always dancing around or acting out scenes to movies and shows or making his own scenes to movies. Always cracking jokes and getting people to smile in the most stressful of times. He above all things was understanding and observational. He loves his children and family absolutely unconditionally. He taught his children to not hate and to see both sides of everything. There is good in everybody he said, you must relate to that side in everyone.
Most people didn’t know the real Anthony Christini, but those who had the chance would say it was an honor and that he was their favorite person. He was like a big kid, perhaps too sensitive for this world.
He would want to be remembered as strong, smart, funny, kind, caring, loving human being. Someone who took care of his children no matter what, using whatever was necessary to do so. What else could a father be? He was a good man and father and a human being through and through, he never hurt anyone but himself. And he truly was a kind person and only a select few and God know that’s the truth.
He would probably want me to tell you all goodbye on his behalf, and so I bid you a farewell but not forever. We will meet again, with our true Father, his true Father he spoke of, the Lord.
As a man, he loved this Earth, he loved his family, he loved learning, he loved the past, he loved the future, most of all, he loved God. He said he felt special and that he would be one of God’s soldiers and I couldn’t expect less.
His life wasn’t easy, he was met with challenges he couldn’t overcome. The challenges made him who he was, a better person. He wouldn’t have wanted too much of a cushy life anyway, he was meant for challenges. His children learned more lessons from him most will people will ever learn or care to learn.
History is painted with a glimmer of his life, a shooting star that teased us with his brilliant light for the briefest of moments and then disappeared into the heavens. We are left with only a small hint of what could have been accomplished, a true blank slate of a human, able to mold into anything he wanted.
Let it be known his journey isn’t over, and his name Christini will be carried on. All that he has done here isn’t the end. Whatever he was meant to accomplish and attain will be done in the next dimension.
God let his journey continue, let it be what he wanted it to be, with peace and challenges. Peace to the world.
