
Antonio was born on November 18, 1945, in Jacksonville, Florida to Josephine and Antonio Marconi. Antonio served faithfully in the United States Army, which included one tour of duty in Vietnam. After the army Antonio enjoyed a long career with AT&T. In Antonio’s free time he enjoyed playing golf, working in his yard, cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Braves, eating delicious food and wine and spending time with family. During the last year Antonio loved spending as much time as he could with his granddaughter Margaret Josephine Marconi (Maggie). He was a devoted Catholic his whole life and attended church weekly at San Juan Del Rio in St. Johns, Florida.
Antonio was married to the love of his life Sharlene Marconi (Meeks) for nearly 41 years. Their loving marriage brought them two children Anna Marconi and Antonio Marconi (Angelina).
Antonio is predeceased by his mother Josephine Marconi, his father Antonio Marconi and his twin sister Josephine Blanco. He is survived by his wife Sharlene Marconi (Meeks), his sister Marie Saladino and two children Anna Marconi and Antonio Marconi. He is also survived by his Granddaughter Margaret Josephine Marconi and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Antonio will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. A visitation will occur from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, 1718 FL-13, Jacksonville, FL 32259. A committal service with military honors will occur Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
