PETERSON - Arthur Frederick Peterson, Lt., USNR passed away on March 21, 2014. He was born in 1945 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Arthur F. and Veronica P. Peterson and grew up in Pennsylvania and New York. He earned his bachelor’s degree at GeorgetownUniversity and later received an M.A. in history from IndianaUniversity. He was commissioned in the U.S. Navy in 1969, deploying twice to the Mediterranean aboard the USS Columbus (CG-12).
