Arturo Soloria Ramirez

Mr. Ramirez was born on March 22, 1937 in Tayug Pangasinan, Philippines to his late parents, Felix and Maximillan. He was the eldest of five. Arturo is survived by his two brothers, Lino and Ray, and his two sisters, Nievella and Lourdes. He is also survived by his three sons, Michael, Art, Jr., and Waldo. He was also a proud grandfather to his two granddaughters, Torii and Zealan. Preparing and encouraging his two granddaughters to work hard, play hard, have fun and be respectful in all aspects of life was his passion.

Mr. Ramirez proudly served his country for 30 years (his adopted country) in the United States Navy. After retiring from the military, Arturo worked another 20 years with the United States Post Office. He was a proud, hard working family man and will be missed by all who knew him

Visitation for Arturo will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223, followed by his funeral service at 12:00 PM.
