Ava Marie Martin

Ava Marie Martin, age 26, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville, FL and lived in Switzerland, FL most of her life. She was baptized at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church and attended Switzerland Dance School as a child. Ava was a member of the St. Johns County 4H Club for many years where she competed in many horse-riding events throughout the area. She graduated from Bartram Trail High School in 2012. She loved her family, her horse Cowboy, her dogs and many friends. She always thought of others and was somebody that everyone who knew her loved her.

She is survived by her father and mother, Mitchell and Ava Martin; brothers, Tyler and Corey Martin; uncle, Stephen Martin; and cousins, Eric Martin, Jamie Rewis and Alex Swalina.

There are no words to describe how much we all love her and how saddened we are by her passing, but we know that she has found peace in Heaven and we are looking forward to seeing her again.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, followed by her Celebration of Life at 1:00pm.
