Etzkorn – Avery Peter Etzkorn went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2011. Avery, for his 18 years provided unconditional love to all in his presence. He was a governor to commitment and obedience. He proved that no challenge would be an obstacle. He is survived by his parents Dr. Kyle P. Etzkorn and Dr. Lorraine Rodriguez; his brother Maximilian; grandparents Hector R. Rodriguez “Bo”, Juanita G. Rodriguez and Hildegard Etzkorn; aunts Lucy Garcia “Lu”, Alaida Du Prey, Jacqueline Gilliland; uncles Hector Rodriguez, Lars Etzkorn and Gregory Hoss; cousins Venessa Rodriguez, Amanda Rodriguez, Sian Du Prey, and Lorne Rodriguez. He is survived by many other family members and friends.
He was received in heaven by his grandfather Dr. K. Peter Etzkorn, uncle Angel Gonzalez, aunt Norma Rodriguez and his faithful dog, Edison. A memorial mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Assumption Catholic Church, 2403 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Avery’s memory to the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, 5209 San Jose Blvd., Suite 101, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd is serving the family.
