Barbara is survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Eddie Smith, Mr. Lester Tillman, her son Robert Christopher Walser, husband Philip Albrektson, sisters Bobbi McLeod and JoAnne Duke.
Barbara was a native of Jacksonville and graduated from Forrest High School. In her working career she held various positions at Stockton Whatley Davin, Shippers Paper Products, BlueCross/ Blue Shield, Wells Fargo and most recently retired from Vistakon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jacksonville Humane Society, 8464 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32216.
Visitation will be held between 6-8pm on Sunday, May 30th at Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Chapel
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday, May 31st , held at the funeral home chapel.
