Barbara Hazel Wheeler

Barbara was born in Auckland New Zealand and met her Husband Leo who was in the Army at the time in 1944. She was a war bride married him and moved to Buffalo New York. Her passion in life was going to see Mickey Mouse at Disneyworld and working at Walmart where she recently retired after 20 years. She loved life and enjoyed spending time with all her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leo of 47 years. Also, preceded in death by her daughter Amelia Schomber and son Randolph Wheeler.

The surviving children are: Leo (Maureen) Buffalo, Maryann Oliver Los Angelos, David (Martha) Anaheim, Pamela Marquart Orange Park, Michael (Joan) Buffalo, and Barbie Wheeler Orlando. She is survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

We want to especially thank Hospice of Orange Park for the excellent care they gave to our Mom.

Arrangements entrusted to Hardage Giddens 5753 Blanding Blvd. Jax. Fl 32244, where a visitation will be held for family and friends Thursday Sept 10,2015 from 6-8 pm. Interment will follow Sept 11 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl.
