Barry Chambers, age 67, passed away March 8, 2015. He was born on May 13, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida. Barry was preceded in death by his father Harvey Eugene Chambers. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Elanor Chambers of Jacksonville, Florida. Norman Lynn Tanner, who was like a step father to him, several cousins in Australia and England and Judi Zills, who was a very close and loving friend.
Barry served with the Army during the Vietnam war and was stationed in California. He graduated from the University of North Florida. He loved fishing and boating.
A celebration of his life will be held 3PM Friday, March 13th, at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL. With a visitation from 6-8PM on Thursday March 12th.
