Hi Carole...please accept my belated condolences over the passing of your beloved Barry and one of my oldest friends.
He was such a special guy ...always bringing a smile to everyone who he touched. We had so many great memories of our days at Camp Blue Star and when you both traveled to D.C. to visit Senator Stone.
I was never a Gator but we exchanged that special TEP handshake..and was always waiting to give him a big hug at our reunions!

I'm sorry I just got this information on Barry. I've known Barry since he first received his law degree and can only think of his professionalism throughout the years. I've talked to Barry over the years just staying in touch between his busy schedule. He is truly missed and remains in my prayers. Thanks, for being a great guy and, friend over all these years. Barry Sinoff is the model of attorney professionalism.  The Bar and Bench were better for his membership and are reduced by his passing.  He was tireless in the pursuit of justice for his clients and healing for the families divided by the emotions of family law controversy.  Our thoughts and prayers today are with his family and friends in this time of remembrance and loss.

Barry was a most gentle and kind man. My time with him was when he represented me in a most difficult divorce case. One would expect expert legal guidance from a man of his credentials, but what absolutely amazed me was something additional:  he did not know me before our professional relationship began, yet from the beginning, he took a very human interest in me- not just as a client, but as someone who was having a very difficult time.  He referred me to counseling which was extremely helpful- but really went the extra mile:  at the end of one of our lengthy sessions, late in the afternoon, he closed by saying " you need to leave now to go to your appointment for another counseling session with_______."  I protested, saying I did not have an appointment.  He said "Yes, you do."   It turns out this insightful man, with the help of his amazing assistant, Pat, perceived my need, and called the counselor, getting her to agree to stay late for a session, and MADE me the appointment.  I said I didn't need it, and he said "yes you do.  Go."  What a kind, caring man.  He even came to my "Free At Last Party, along with Pat and their respective spouses.  What a huge debt I owe to them for treating my case personally, not as a business relationship.  God rest his soul.   Ben Burbridge
