BAKER - Belle Baker, age 78, passed away on September 30th, 2019. She was born on March 6, 1941 in LaPlata, Missouri as Minnie Belle Shughart. She was deeply religious and known for her outspoken, witty, tell it like it is mentality. She was a skilled seamstress who outfitted multiple generations with her own haute couture. Her culinary skill was on display every holiday when she indulged everyone by creating their favorite Belle special. Her memory lives on with her husband of 59 years, Dale Baker, their children Robert Baker, Connie Dryer, Crystal (Jeff) Brown, Jeffrey Baker, her three sisters Mary Slattery, Ruth McCright, and Darlene Bissel. She had five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will be buried at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on October 4th, 2019 at 12:30pm. Please remember her as she is now safely in the arms of Jesus
